** AND THE WINNER IS....... **

JENNEE!! Congratulations to my July Contest winner, Jennee, from Cheap Therapy.

I really enjoyed having this contest and reading all the resourceful reasons why everyone wanted to win. As I said, though, it was purely a random drawing contest.

As soon as I hear back from Jennee with her mailing address, her goodies will be on their way!

Now...I just have to come up with another inventive contest for August. And don't worry, oh fabulous Miss Cathy C......I'll try to get my act together and post it before the end of the month!

  3. How about choosing a word or phrase, with the instructions that the story/poem needs to include that word or center around it? For example, perhaps the noun is "dashboard hula girl" or "bent-up housekey" or "class picture with one face magic-markered out." (And no, I don't have three completed stories about those three things, ready to send off...) Just a thought. I like the idea of your contests. 1) It gets people writing and 2) it attracts people to your blog.

  4. Yay, for Jennee! You have some great prizes, Becky. I want to let you know that I really enjoy your music, btw. It stays on as I do other stuff, until I actually click out of your site. How do you do that?

  7. Aw, Becky! That's what made your July contest so much fun!!!

But, in the words of whomever that famous military guy was, "I shall return" when there's another contest.

    Um, but probably before that.

(Wait! It was MacArthur-yeah, that guy.)
