** Comment Like Crazy Wednesday **

Hey Everybody! It's Comment Like Crazy Wednesday!  The fabulous TK Richardson, of My Writing Masquerade, came up with this wonderful meme, as a way to keep up with blog reading and commenting! She asked if I'd like to join along and I said "Sure"!

I believe many people struggle with issues about trying to write something on their blog every day or every other day. Some maybe don't have much going on at the moment that seems "Blog Worthy", or in most cases, don't have the time! SO, instead of struggling, trying to write something to post, how about taking the day off, and go visit your blog buddies....Read...and.... Comment Like Crazy!

(I'm not sure yet if Comment Like Crazy will be a weekly feature on my blog, since this is my first one, so I'll see what happens! TK said she will be doing it weekly, but not necessarily every Wednesday.)

 Here's how it works:

1. Instead of writing my normal blog post for (maybe) one day of the week, I will Comment Like Crazy on your blogs! (sounds simple, huh?)

2. The purpose of Comment Like Crazy is not to gain more followers, but to connect with those who follow me and those I follow. After all, how will you know I've read your blog if I don't say something?

3. It doesn't matter which day of the week I choose as long as I Comment Like Crazy when I do! So, this week it's Wednesday. Next week who knows?

4. I encourage all of you to grab the Comment Like Crazy button, and join in. The "rules" are simple and you'll be interacting with one of the best communities out there - bloggers! It's like hanging a "Gone Fishing" sign on your blog....only you won't be fishing! Readers will know you'll be back the next day, with one of your "scathingly brilliant" posts! (Thanks, Cathy C. for letting me borrow one of your/my favorite expressions!..and thanks to The Angels!)

Blogging takes a lot of time, energy, and thought. We put more into our blogs than people realize, and when we leave comments it gives us the fuel we need to keep on trucking - er, I mean blogging!

Thanks again to TK Richardson for suggesting this fun, interactive meme!

Ahhh, the pressure is off for today. No fabulous post to write. No photos to search for and download. I get to do one of my very favorite things: Visit my blog friends and let 'em know I was there! I can't wait!

  1. great idea! Except I'm so self absorbed that I always have great blog material, but I'll keep this in mind when I tire of talking about Me. :)

  2. This is a great idea. I may have to try this on my blog. Blogging is hard work - but very rewarding too. Thanks for sharing about this!

  3. Hi Becky! The blog button and post look great! This new weekly feature is so fun because it's like traveling around the world every week. We get to cruise through the blogosphere and comment like crazy! :)

  4. COMMENT LIKE CRAZY! OKAY GIRL, YOU'RE ON!

This is a great idea really, it gets hard sometimes to keep up with commenting and posting and creating in the first place....but it sure is nice to connect with those followers and leave some feedback!

I love hearing from you...your comments are always a pleasure to read.

Sending you warm wishes for a happy day!

  5. Hi Becky...Thanks for the post. Posting on a daily basis is definitely time-consuming but it's part of my doing something joyful on a daily basis.

Definitely, getting comments adds to the thrill of blogging. I also already try very hard to comment as much as possible...even a few words...on other peoples' blogs. Comments, I feel, are truly the "grease" that keeps the wheel rolling along.

I always love hearing from you, too, Becky! Susan

  6. This is what I do on Sundays. I like going visiting instead of writing a blog on that day. And I agree that it's important to let your blog friends know you care about them.

    =)

  7. sounds good to me!! although Wednesdays may not work well for me, I'll grab your button and use it wisely ;)
LOVE the quote btw!! I just lost one of my dearest uncles last weekend and you have no idea how much I regret not been able to say goodbye or being closer - last time I saw him was almost a year ago, and now he's gone..he knew I loved him, but I wasted so much time in tomorrows... (see?? joining "comment like crazy" without even trying!!)

  9. Friday's my Comment Like Crazy day-I do a blog post that day, but then I give my writing brain a rest and zip around, commenting. Which might be why my Friday comments don't always make sense.

Oh, well. It's the commenting that counts-:-)

  10. My blogs are far less frequent than when I started, partly because I do try and visit/comment on other blogs. I do agree that getting feedback is a wonderful thing for bloggers!

  11. I am one who leads a very boring life, so I do some memes a few days a week. My Reading Corner is the only blog I do almost each week day, some week-ends I take a break and just read other peoples blogs if I have the time. I think week-ends are a little busier for us all, so I blog if I want to and not if I don't feel like it. There, that was my crazy comment today.

  14. i think that everyone realizes that to keep a blog, spend time. to comment , spend time. unfortunately, there isn't always enough time. i sometimes just make a day for commenting, but it's still hard. will try. rose

I'm still getting quite a few spam comments that are Anonymous, so I'm trying "User with Google Accounts." If anyone tries to comment that I know, and it won't let you, send me an email, okay? Thanks so much.
