* Groundhog Day *

(This is a repeat from last year. I love this movie and it just seems appropriate to repeat it.....ba-dum-dum!)
HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY!

And now, a few words and photos from one of my favorite movies: "Groundhog Day", starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell.

"Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties 'cause it's cold out there today."
"Hey now, don't you tell me you don't remember me 'cause I sure as heckfire remember you."

"NEEDLE-NOSE NED?...NED RYERSON?" ..... "BING!"

"IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL! ..... LET'S LIVE HERE!"

"Love is the answer. Shine on us all. Set us free. Love is the answer." -- EMI Music Publishing, Warner/Chappell Music, Inc.
(P.S. I know this song is not used in the movie, but I love the music and lyrics, and it's perfect for the ending. Bill Murray's character is finally set free....when he realized love was the answer.)

  5. Hi Becky, this is one of my very favorite comfort movies. I can watch it over and over and over again. Happy Groundhogs Day!

    How much snow do you have? BTW, when I clicked on to your site, my very favorite Jimmy Buffett song of all was playing, "A Pirate Looks at Forty" Thanks for blessing my day!

  13. Wonderful movie. A perennial favorite. Woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise, small golden clouds set high in the sky. Could Punxatawney Phil be trying to tell me something?

  15. Becky, I actually love the snow on Saturdays and Sundays. It was beautiful yesterday. I just don't like risking my neck trying to get to work through the snow during rush hour!

    But you're right, we'll appreciate the spring when it comes.
