Que Sera Sera

I've been especially happy the past few days. (Those of you who know me personally or read my blog fairly often already know that joy and happiness just come naturally to me.) But, this entire year has been difficult in some crucial areas and I'm now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Oh Happy Day!

And what's truly strange about my new feeling is that some really trying times could still come about, and yet I have a feeling of peace that I haven't experienced in a long time. Have I finally reached that stage where I'm honestly living a "Que Sera Sera" kind of life? Whatever will be, will be?

*Note: The Ronald had surgery this past Tuesday and is doing well. I'm sure his recovery has a role in my grateful disposition.*

Welcome to my newest followers: Jan and Capability: Mom (and also welcome to Becky D. because she said she became a follower, too, but I can't find her!) I hope you'll stop by often and always enjoy what you read and see! Thank you!

  2. Aloha Becky,
I'm very happy for you. There are people that are so good natured and will find some good in any given situation. I believe you're that kind of person.
Glad to hear your Ronald is coming along just fine; more power to him.
    Warm hugs to you both.

  3. That "Serenity Prayer" has helped me through a lot, helping me accept that some things cannot be changed, so don't rant and rave and mourn about them. Other things--things that are in our control--can be changed.

I'm glad you're channeling Doris Day these days...

  10. That is great news! I can relate a bit to the que sera sera feeling in my own way. After obsessing about getting pregnant for 17 years, last October I was finally able to just let it go and to trust that "what will be will be." Doing that brought me peace I hadn't known in close to 2 decades. Truly, there are things we cannot control, and we waste so much time either trying to control them or worrying about them.

I'm glad you've gotten a peaceful spirit..and I'm glad your husband is recovering so well.

    Love,
    Patti
