After reading Donna's blog this morning about a mutual writing friend of ours and a Chicken Soup for the Soul contributor, I realized this would be the perfect blog post to mention her: Alice Muschany.

I invite you to hop over there and read about Alice's accomplishments, both in publishing and life itself!

"Vegetables are a must on a diet.  I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie." -- Jim Davis

  1. My skinny portion would agree with Jim Davis - except that he would only eat carrot cake (occasionally). He and my youngest brother believe that vegetables* are the garnish you put on the plate to make the meat look better.

    * With the exception of tomatoes, potatoes and onions which have been awarded honorary meat status.

  3. Is this your latest post? I can't believe they are going to make food for it - I think that is interesting.

  4. Becky, Thanks for continuing my moment of fame (recent Chicken Soup publications). Since Chicken Soup is in cahoots with doctors from Harvard I am assuming their foods with be heart healthy. Maybe they've found a way for food to be mouth-watering scrumptious & low calorie, low fat, low carb, etc.
