Packing and Getting Ready to Go!

While The Ronald and I pack, Vern sniffs around on our deck.

I have no idea what he found, but his head is completely in the snow!

One of the trees in our front yard.

The birds kept coming to the feeder all day long. The one on the right, about half way up the pole is in flight. He's in the air, not on the ground!

We're so excited about downsizing. I can't wait to get moved into our new home and begin this next chapter in our lives!

  3. I'm here to comment on your comment on Podso's blog.
I had to laugh when I read about your boys and ice trays. I remember going through the same thing. Our younger son said to me one day: "Mom, you just need to set up a schedule for making sure the ice trays are filled". Of course, he was right.

I see you are downsizing. Something we are considering. I must read further to see how that's going for you.

    Best,
    Bonnie

  9. How exciting and while I know some may wonder at the joy of downsizing, I completely understand it-- especially during this phase of life. Loved the pictures-- so much snow. And I caught the bird in flight before I even read your caption. Lovely.

  12. Hi Becky,
I'm a new follower. You responded to my blog at: writingandallthatjazz.blogspot.com
I was in the throes of procrastination and slowly seem to be coming out of it. I love the picture of your Vern with his head in the snow. I know moving can be stressful so I hope by now you've gotten settled.

  13. I don't know if I'm more taken with the idea of your downsizing (color me jealous!) ..... or sweet Vern's adventures in the snow.
It's supposed to be 90-degrees this weekend .... UGH!!!!

(I must have missed something about the upcoming move, but can't wait to read more!)

  17. Yay! Sound like a hectic time and all, but I'm sure it'll be wonderful once you'll all done packing, and then moved in, and then unpacked :)

What a wintery scene that is, I love how interested Vern is in everything.
Plus, that's a GREAT shot of the bird in flight!
