* HALLMARK CARD CONTEST *

At the end of my June 28 blog post, I wrote:
"To be continued.....
and
P.S. I'll be having a Give-Away next week, so please be sure and drop in!"

Well, time got away from me,

so, I haven't gotten my give-away put together yet,

BUT

here is a contest I'm happy to share with all:

the Hallmark card contest! It's free and easy to

enter and submissions are accepted until July 21. It's

part photo contest and part writing!

Give it a try and let me know that you entered!

Remember the old Hallmark card commercials on TV?? Did they make you cry?! I almost always got misty eyed!

*Welcome to my newest follower Betsy Brock I hope you'll stop by often and always enjoy what you read and see! *

Have a wonderful, blissful weekend everyone!

  3. Oh yeah ... my eyes used to regularly spring leaks when watching the Hallmark commercials.
It kills me that our nearest Hallmark store is like 30 miles away; given the chance, I could probably spend hours there!

  5. Myra, I'm so happy to see your lovely face here! I feel the same as you about Hallmark stores. I could browse in them for hours! They sure don't have the beautiful stationery they used to have, though, do they?? I understand the reasoning....too few people are writing letters these days :(

  6. Hallmark really knows how to press our emotional buttons. Matter of fact, when i'm looking for a card, I give it the Hallmark test: if it brings tears to my eyes, it's the right one to buy.

Love that image of the running clock, and the soft kitty badge for Sheldon, too. They're both smile generators.

    1. Hi Susan! I know what you mean about Hallmark cards....but I tend to go for the silly, funny, ridiculous cards!!
I'm so glad you like the running clock and Sheldon's soft kitty badge!!

  11. I still love Hallmark Hall of Fame movies, and I never mute the commercials. They are lovely, and some of them do make me cry. I even cry reading Hallmark cards at the store -- now that's embarrassing!
