* Thursday Potpourri -- Part One *

Hello family & friends! I have such good intentions to accomplish tremendous amounts of stuff today. I'll be back, off and on, to give updates. Hopefully, I won't be embarrassed by my [lack of] achievements....

Until then, enjoy looking at these beautiful ducks geese, who semi chased me to my car on December 4th!

I attended a cookie-exchange in Illinois, and totally forgot to take any photos (typical...) until I came outside to drive home! These guys were next to the parking lot where my car was.

See the one on the right charging toward me?! I jumped into my car, rolled down the window, and took this so fast I'm surprised it's not blurry!

I'll be back later!

  1. You be careful! I had one of those geese staple himself to my dress when I was feeding some ducks. He was downright ornery, and I had visions of him on the table for dinner! ;-)

  2. Geese are notoriously good watch - dogs (watch - geese!) I had one bite me in the butt when I was a toddler and never forgot it! Hope you're having a great week, Becky. Hugs Jo

  4. Don't be trusting the geese...especially the big Canada geese..they have attitude.

    1. Hey Delores! I don't know if they were Canadian or not....but they definitely had "attitude"!

  8. Running was definitely the best decision. She who fights and runs away, lives to run another day. Though I suspect I would need the car because a goose can waddle faster than I can.
    Enjoy your day.

    1. Ha! I don't know what I would've done if those geese would have been between me and my car! I thought later that...Duh....I could've thrown some cookies their way! :)

  11. Geese are better than guard dogs in some cases. Glad you made it to you car :) Great shot, by the way.
