* YIKES, IT'S DECEMBER! *

Right now, my two part-time jobs are kickin' my butt! Yesterday when I got into my car, I had to stop and think which job I was going to and which highway I needed to get on! LOL

Actually, it's not that bad, but I'm looking forward to working only one job after this Saturday. (Have I even mentioned the two jobs? Long story as to how I came upon the second one and got hired the day of my interview, even after I was AN HOUR LATE for it!)

My posts will probably be even fewer this month, but I hope everyone knows that you're always in my thoughts. Maybe I'll just post a photo or two every now and then....

December 2008

... like these two wacky pictures of myself from December of 2008. Gosh, it doesn't seem that long ago!

Welcome to my newest follower, Dawn.

I hope you'll stop by often and always enjoy what you read and see! Thanks so much.

P.S. - Dawn, please leave a comment with your blog or website. When I click on your photo, a link pops up for about one second and disappears before I can even click on it.

  1. I like the cute photos of you in Christmas garb. You got hired during an interview and when you were an hour late, now that is a rare feat.

  2. Two jobs? Good grief! There's a story to that one! Meanwhile, I adore your holiday garb! I know you're busy but remember to take a few minutes to hear the jingle bells!

  4. How did I get so old so fast?
It seems that youth just doesn't last.
As a young chick I've been miscast.
My wrinkles make me feel downcast.
    ....not Dr Seuss.....
Don't work too hard....save some energy for Christmas.

  5. Love the DR Seuss rhyme. Time certainly does seem to be zipping by faster than usual.

  6. I had no idea you were THAT busy. Two jobs, whew. And you still have a good sense of humor. I love that. The Dr. Seuss quote is so true. Time is flying. Take care Becky.

  7. Time is flying like a jet plane. The days seem to go even faster since I retired.

Remember, we still need to do lunch. When you have time, let me know!

  8. BECKY-O! ~
Two part time jobs, eh? Sounds like both of us have been swamped.

Yesterday was my first day off from work since Thanksgiving Day, and I've been working mostly 10 and 12.5 hour days.

I liked that Floyd's Barber Shop T-Shirt you linked me to. I only wish it had also said "Two Chairs - No Waiting". Overall, I still like that "Pink Floyd" shirt best and may try to buy one some time after Christmas is over and I have a better idea of my financial situation.

I hope you're getting into the spirit of the Season, my friend.

I love comments, especially because I know the time it takes to stop and type one, even a short one! Thanks very much!
