* NOSTALGIC SUNDAY *

It's Time for Another Nostalgic Sunday

I can't believe it's Sunday already...

~~~
I'm feeling nostalgic today about music from another era, the 1960s.
One song I love, in particular, is "Moon River" by Andy Williams. It's one of those songs that just does something to me whenever I hear it. I also like it as an instrumental, but only Mr. Williams can sing it for me!
1960s performance
AND
1970s performance
Do you have a preference between the two??
What about you? Do you have favorite songs from the 1960s?
P.S. I forgot to welcome my three new followers! - Lee, Delores, and Jennifer.  I hope you'll stop by often and always enjoy what you read and see. Thank you!
  1. My preference is probably for the 1970s version, but I am a musical moron.
    1. Hey, I prefer the later one, too. His voice sounds richer then, I think. And you certainly are not a musical moron!
  2. Hi Becky. Love the song Moon River. Andy did, indeed, sing it best. Thanks so much for the visit, too. You are the best. Susan
  3. the 70s version is better, but I've heard this sung by someone else and prefer that one but can't remember who. I skipped over to you tube and listened to Bobby Darin and Frank Sinatra (ugh)but neither is the sound I remember.
  5. I love Moon River, and IMHO only Andy Williams could/should sing it.
  6. I like all the older music from the 40s, 50s, and 60s...and even the OLD country/western fellows. Blake is cuter than Willie but when I shut my eyes to hear the song....well,.....
