* ICE STORM COMING MY WAY? *

Hello friends!

I've been a little under the weather since Tuesday morning, and glad I don't have any big plans for this weekend...for two reasons:

1) I haven't felt that great. I've been sneezing and freezing (when it was still warm out!)
2) We're supposed to be getting a big ice storm.

So, Charlie's been keeping me company, we're hunkered down, and trying to stay warm. J

Wherever you are, hope you are feeling fantastic and enjoying good weather!

*One of my favorite quotes below!*

"When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of ‘ME, TOO!” be sure to cherish them. Because those weirdos are your tribe." - Nanea Hoffman

  1. Hunker down - and get healthy. And stay safe.
And yes, I love that quote too, and have been grateful for the weirdos I have found in the blogosphere.

    1. Thanks, Sue! I'm feeling better, just still have no energy...Oh yeah, I forgot, that's "normal" for me! Ha ha! I'm very grateful, too, for all the weirdo friends I have due to the internet!!

  3. Hope you feel better. The ice storm is scary around here. Schools and churches have cancelled in mass and nothing happened yet. Hope it isn't as bad as they think. Thanks for the note too!!!! Stay warm!

  4. In real life, I almost never hear "Me Too!", so my tribe here is very small. But on the internet, my tribe is larger and I'm thankful to find people who share my quirks; now I feel less alone, less like a square peg in a round hole.

  5. I'm glad you have Charlie to keep you company. I hate ice storms. Hope it misses you.

  6. I hope you're feeling better soon. I love the quote at the bottom. The best thing about the harsher winter we're having here is the longing for soup and tea and curling up with good books. I hope the ice storm wasn't as bad as predicted.

  9. I've always loved that quote. I do hope you're feeling a little better by now Becky, and that the storm has passed. Look after yourself ❤️

  10. First time I've heard that quote! It's great! So sorry you're under the weather. Thank you for the Christmas card! My husband opened it and read it first and then said, "I think we got someone else's Christmas card. I don't know these people" hahaha So I told him it was from a blogging friend. I didn't even send cards this year! I hosted two events in Dec. with our small group and then hosted three Christmas celebrations with different family members. Something had to go and it was the cards. Happy New Year! Hop on over and enter my blog Give-Away and Get Well Soon!

I'm still getting quite a few spam comments that are Anonymous, so I'm trying "User with Google Accounts." If anyone tries to comment that I know, and it won't let you, send me an email, okay? Thanks so much.
