This is my first "sort of" Blog-Hop and it's for my friend, Robert Brault. Please join in to have a chance at winning one of the brand new 2012 Calendars or a Set of 12 Note Cards. (And if you don't win here, you can purchase them at very reasonable prices!)
1) Visit Robert Brault's blog and read some of his fabulous thoughts and quotes. Don't just read the first page, there are months and months of archives....all full of gems!
2) Then add your blog in Mr. Linky,
3) Post something on your blog about Robert, or his quotes, which one(s) you like the best, etc.
** This is not a typical Blog Hop where people are expected to go around and comment on everyone else's. Just write about one of Robert's sayings/quotes on your own blog, and then add your blog in the Linky, and then you are included in the drawing. **
On November 19th, one lucky winner (chosen by random drawing) will receive either Robert's calendar or one of the note card sets. What a neat gift for just reading some inspirational or humorous quotes that will enrich your lives! This Give-Away is available to everyone no matter where you live!
*Or buy some as Christmas gifts for those special people in your lives.
"Looking back, you realize that a very special person passed briefly through your life -- and that person was you. It is not too late to become that person again. " -- Robert BraultOn November
I'll link up Monday or Wednesday, Becky. Good job on getting the Mr. Linky going!

Hi Sue! Thanks! I can't believe I did it!
ReplyDeleteThanks to Susan for being my first Blog Hop Participant!
ReplyDeleteOoh, yes, I am definitely going to link in! I have to wait until Sunday because I just posted something for a sponsor on my site. I got one of Robert's calendars and love it! Of course if I won another I wouldn't complain because I can give it as a gift. Braultize the world! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Becky! This is a great idea :) I'll link up tomorrow. This will be fun. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know that I am not going to participate in this. I have decided to take a break from my Fill My Cup with Beauty blog and work only on my movie blog. The only things I am posting on there are movie reviews.
ReplyDeleteThank you for inviting me, though!
I hope you are doing well. I'm doing what I can to deal with the cold, wind, and dreariness, and I think by focusing on really working on my movie blog, I will be okay. Time will tell, but I seem to be doing very well right now.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Love,
Patti
Hi Randi! Thanks for joining! And hey, since you already have a calendar, you could choose the note cards. Giving a gift is a wonderful idea, too, though! And, I LOVE your new word: "Braultize" the world! Awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteHi September Mom! Thanks, I'm glad you like the idea!
ReplyDeleteHey Patti! I totally understand. You take care of yourself first. If mama ain't happy, then nobody's happy! ;)
Hey Becky, This seemed to fun to pass up since I like your quotes and well quotes in general.
ReplyDeleteHey Lynn! Thanks so much! I do know you like quotes as much as I do, I think! Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI believe Robert Brault is one of the finest writers on the scene today. In all my life I've never seen anyone who could so consistently pack such meaning (serious, hilarious, reverent, irreverent and the gamut) into so few words. He really amazes me at times, or amuses me equally frequently. If you admire really clever quotations, and thought-provoking writing you cannot do better. If you have a friend who's in publishing, editing, agenting, do them and the rest of the world a favor. Tell them they should take a close look at Bob's body of work. donkimrey P.S. Already have my calendar. And I really like your work. I'll be back. donkimrey
ReplyDeleteThanks for "introducing me" to Robert Brault! I love so many of his quotes and did not know they belonged to him :) I am now a follower and I know I will spend tons of time there. Might even buy some calendars for gifts if I can fit them into my ever tightening budget :/
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome Idea. I just found your blog through my friends. I'm going to try and link up tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHey Don! Thanks for stopping by. I know how much you appreciate Robert's writing genius...as do I.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky! Thank you so much. You're such a sweetie. I totally understand about a tight budget. I think the majority of us are at that place these days.
ReplyDeleteHello i'm erin! It's so great to meet you! Isn't it fun to find new people as we blog hop? Thank you for stopping, leaving a comment, and hopefully joining tomorrow, too!
ReplyDeleteHe does have great quotes! I look forward to visiting the bloghop!
ReplyDeleteWell, I put my link on Mr. Linky, but it doesn't show up. Hmmm. What the heck?
ReplyDeleteSo, I tried to enter it again, but Mr. Linky tells me that my blog is already linked up. Then why can't I see it?!
Hopefully it will show up eventually. If not, anyone reading this can head over and check out my post at
