Random Thoughts - Now It's Friday?

Okay, this week just disappeared, and I'm pretty sure the same will happen to the weekend.

After thinking about the "next part of the story" that goes with the Windy Day Downtown, I don't even remember what else I was going to post about it. Oh well. As Annie Hall always said, "La-di-da la-di-da."

I find it strange how my "Follower numbers" fluctuate from time to time, and especially when it happens so fast. Just the other day, the number had reached 368. Then in a couple of days, 367. I logged on this evening to see that it's now 366.  (I wonder if some people are ticked off at me? If so, I honestly have no idea why.

I'll post something as soon as I can. I'm thinking it might be a Nostalgic Sunday one. I haven't done one in quite a while and have some ideas....We'll see....La-di-da....la-di-da....

Have a wonderful, blissful, and safe weekend everyone!

  3. It's funny about the follower numbers, Becky...mine do the same sometimes. But lately, my followship has been on a steady rise. Must be doing something right. I just don't fret it when someone drops out...someone else will come along. And congrats again on your book!

    1. Hey, thanks! I know...I'm being silly. But it was like yours...steadily going up, and then all of a sudden...I lost two! I really need to stop being so sensitive! And yes, you're doing something "write" ! Thanks again for the congrats, too. You're a neato guy! LOL

  4. Mine do the same...I really don't worry about it because there is a solid core of good friends who read and comment and they seem to stick around. I write for them.

  5. My follower numbers have been stuck for a while. I need to get out and do a little more blog visiting, but never seem to have the time. Don't forget that good ole' Blogspot's idiosyncrasies could have something to do with variances in your numbers, too.

  6. Hi Becky! Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving a comment! The blog number thing is so odd isn't it? I try not to think about it too much, but still love seeing a new little face in that "Followers" Box, right? Susie

  7. Thank you for the comment on my blog page, Becky!
I think the numbers do not reflect reader's response to the blog, but that they drop in and out, get too many on their notices, take some out etc. I know I have followers that appeared out of nowhere, commented and disappeared I think, from the reading anyway. I don't think it what I said but that I did not reflect their own interests enough.

  11. Eh. I lost one yesterday. I just figured it was somebody who deleted their profile. I am sure nothing I have ever written would be considered offensive! It's not like oodles of henpecked husbands read my blog. A few folks did take me to task on that feces transplant topic. Hey. I was just trying to keep people up-to-date in the world of science.
