  1. We just heard the news. The lady was amazing in so many ways and in so many of the things she did. A new star shines bright in the heavens tonight and our world is a little duller but may her legacy live on.
    Best wishes Molly

  3. We are diminished by her passing - and richer (so much richer) for having been blessed by her presence.

  4. She was incredible and the literary and human/humanitarian world has lost a bright light -- but one with a shining legacy.

  6. That last quote you posted is one of my faves.

Rest in peace, Maya. We will miss you. But in the words of George Eliot, "Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them." We have not forgotten you Maya...nor will we ever.
