President Obama

I'm so happy and hopeful about our new President. He has renewed my sense of goodness in the world.....especially the world of American politics.

I couldn't tear myself away from the TV on Tuesday. I watched hours of the "pre", "during" and "after" Inaugural events. (I did manage to get a little bit of writing accomplished that day!)

SINCE OUR BOOK SIGNING AT BARNES & NOBLE WAS SO SUCCESSFUL, WE'VE DECIDED TO HAVE ANOTHER ONE.

THIS TIME WE'LL BE AT THE BORDERS BOOK STORE IN SOUTH COUNTY MALL ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2009.

WE'VE ALSO ADDED A 4TH LOCAL WRITER TO JOIN US. HER NAME IS THERESA SANDERS AND SHE, TOO, HAS STORIES IN CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL BOOKS.

A FABULOUS VISIT

I arrived home last night after a wonderful visit with my sister and other family members in the Atlanta, Georgia area. We managed to pull off a big surprise, for a milestone birthday of hers! It was great fun and can't wait to go back soon.

Our book signing today at Barnes & Noble was a lot of fun! We met new, wonderful readers and fellow writers; plus visits from our friends and family. Books were autographed, sold, and ordered for future signings. Thanks to everyone who participated!
