"I know every book of mine by its smell, and I have but to put my nose between the pages to be reminded of all sorts of things." -- George Robert Gissing

  1. Looks like I've got a lot of reading to do!

  2. Hi Pat! Yes....and first I need to try to plow through all the ones that surround me at home! :-)

  3. So thrilled to see Goodbye Glamour Girl by Erika Tamar on your list. We were in the same writing class years ago at New School for Social Research in Greenwich Village. I just saw her at a class reunion in December.

I love this book. The acting scenes taught me some important things about writing.

  4. Clara, how awesome!! I love stories like that. I'll definitely have to move that book up to the top of the list! Thanks so much!

  5. Thanks for the list, Becky. Looks like a lot of good reading here.

  6. Thanks, Daisy! Yes, when will we ever find the time???

  7. What a great list! More books going on my wish list . . .

  8. Hi Janel! Thanks. Too bad we all need sleep, huh?! Especially people like me. I have very low energy. I've always needed and have taken naps, and still do.

I'm still getting quite a few spam comments that are Anonymous, so I'm trying "User with Google Accounts." If anyone tries to comment that I know, and it won't let you, send me an email, okay? Thanks so much.
