** It's a Grateful Friday **

♪♫   Just a quick note to mention I've changed my Play List again. If you normally hit your mute button the second you arrive here.....I totally understand! I can't really read and/or write with music playing, either. I like to listen to it as background music as I do filing, de-cluttering, etc.   ♪♫
So, today I'm playing what I call Beautiful Music. You'll hear Vivaldi, Susan Boyle, Beethoven, Michael Buble, and Charlotte Church....just to name a few! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.....but if not, go right ahead and hit that old mute button!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wasn't feeling very grateful a couple of hours ago, yeah....ME! Can you believe that?! Every now and then, the old "woe is me" comes to visit and it takes me awhile to drop-kick it back out into the atmosphere. Ooops, look out! I hope I managed to send it to the middle of nowhere, where it won't hit anyone!
We all have mini incidents & inconveniences that disrupt our lives. And there's those major issues.....illnesses, accidents, family quarrels, financial problems, and loss of loved ones due to divorce or death. So, occassionally I have to remind myself that no matter what I may be going through at the moment, it is so minor compared to what millions of other people have to deal with....maybe on a daily basis.
Therefore, I've changed my attitude and I'm truly experiencing a "Grateful Friday"! I wish one for you, too!
  1. I'm feeling grateful today, too. Of course, it probably doesn't hurt that I have a fun day of lunch and shopping with my daughter planned...
  4. I'm feeling grateful today, why, because all week I had that run-down-feeling, and I hadn't even been run down by a truck. However, today i have a bit more energy, so the husband took me shopping, not one of my favorite things to do, but I had a few things I needed so it really wasn't so bad.
    I had to do a big LOL because I always mute the music, when I read a book or anything like a blog post.... I like quiet.... You are allowed to spank me with a wet noodle ten swats, for muting the music... Have a fun week-end.
  11. Yes, all we have to do is think about how fortunate we are compared to so many others to realize how grateful we should be. Glad to hear you had a good day today.
  12. Goodness, so much to catch up on, Becky!
    I love that you have a special day for gratitude. It's so easy to take the blessings in our life for granted, isn't it? And I guess I'd still be rocking along if I hadn't stopped by today. So, thanks!
    And happy belated b'day greetings to your young'un!
    Now, off to writing we go! (Oh, and P.S. I have an almost identical pile of junk mail! :-)
  15. Becky, gratitude is so important in our lives. Glad you are allowing it in your heart. I understand though, sometimes the circumstances cloud our vision and we see only darkness.
  19. I have "woe is me" days also. I think we all do. The important thing isn't that we have them, it is what we do about them. Looks like you've got it covered. :)
