* No Leftovers! *

Thanks to everyone who left such nice comments about our family Thanksgiving yesterday. This morning, I'm kind of dragging. LOL. We had a great time. The weather was nice enough that The Ronald was able to "play" outside with all the grandkids, which is what he really looks forward to! There were only 10 grandkids this year!! Two of them weren't able to attend!! Not sure when my text post will be, because I'm also trying to get back to writing my book! Baby steps, Joe.....baby steps.

  1. That's the way to keep your priorities straight. Getting your book further along is more important than daily posts.

    Becky--Please email me and remind me which place we're meeting tomorrow, and the time. I know some of you "western" people were talking about there being more than one in the vicinity...I don't want to drive all the way out there and get confused...

  2. I'll be in your neck o' the woods on Thanksgiving, my stepdaughter is hosting dinner. Should I wave?

  3. Glad you had a great day, Becky. Weather was so good and Thanksgiving Thursday is not supposed to be so nice. Dragging is going on here as bp is so low I can hardly breathe...hope it lets me have energy to cook my turkey this coming week! Good luck on the book...may you write all day every day this week!

  4. Your table looks so Thanksgiving cheerful, and I think it must have been your turkey that I smelled, because I have not started mine.
    Yes, every day we should be thankful - even when things are not going right, there is something to be thanful for.

  8. Still have the Day to go at our house. Trying to decide if I REALLY want to make rolls from scratch! Great day at OWL meeetin on Saturday. Was so worn out that I wasn't much good as hostess at the music that night but I snuck my i-pad along and worked a little on a short story I need to get done. Between belting out a couple of songs and doing a couple of paragraphs it was a rewarding time.

  9. Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family! I think that's an excellent idea to have it on a different day. We've done that when the firefighters in the house were scheduled to work on Thanksgiving day.
    You have twelve grandchildren? We get exhausted with our seven.
    Enjoy your writing. Hugs.

  11. I'm so happy you had a lovely time with your family! 10 grandkids seems like so much fun :)

    Love that photo, rings close to home, especially in the past few weeks for me.

    Anyway, I really just wanted to drop by and leave a comment before I head on my vacation this week. See you when I get back!

  12. Hey Becky! Glad you enjoyed a wonderful day. Those moments make everything worthwhile.

    Love the cartoon. Very true. One day just isn't enough to fit in all the things to be grateful for.

    Enjoy your holiday!
