Time for another Nostalgic Sunday
Even though I'm away on vacation, I just couldn't let Nostalgic Sundays roll by without writing something. Especially since blog friend Patti, of Fill My Cup with Beauty, also posted about feeling nostalgic today. Thanks, Patti!
(Since I'm not on my own computer, I don't have my usual photo to post today, but I'm pretty sure y'all won't mind!)
Visiting my sister and brother-in-law, two grown nieces, a great niece, two great nephews, etc. tends to make a gal feel nostalgic! We've looked at OLD photos and reminisced about all kinds of things.
How have so many years gone by in such a hurry? Slow down, World! I want to savor all my memories and all my current adventures!
"I long, as does every human being, to be at home wherever I find myself." -- Maya Angelou
The world does feel like it turns too fast for me these days. I am trying to make myself slow down and enjoy each day! I love Nostalgic Sundays.
ReplyDelete**see you tomorrow**
Hi Becky. Hope you're having a lovely vacation. I couldn't agree more about the time going by far too quickly. Can't believe we're in the middle of July already. I don't like it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with your sister; the time will fly...you're right about that.
ReplyDeleteSo looking forward to meeting you in person tomorrow! Yay!
I doubt that any of us, as kids, ever imagined that one day we would be communicating in this manner.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel, Becky. I felt that way at my niece's recent wedding. My 2 nieces were just little girls last week...now they're both all grown up, a bride and a maid of honor. How in the world have the years gone by so quickly?
ReplyDeleteI understand you are getting to see Linda and Sandie tomorrow. I love those gals...have fun with them.
Love,
Patti
Continue with your fun-filled vacation. Will you wear knee pads for your deep curtseys tomorrow? I advise it...
ReplyDeleteHi Becky,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds as if you are enjoying your time away, yay!
God bless,
Kathy M.
Becky, it sounds like you're having a grand time visiting family. I hope the rest of your vacation goes well. :)
ReplyDeleteWanted to let you know I posted your picture today at my site. :O)
ReplyDeleteI love the music you play on your blog. Several times I've gotten on here, then just reduced the blog and kept the music playing while I worked on other things. Now if you were playing a rap tune, I might feel differently.
ReplyDeleteBecky, hope you're having a great time. (I'm on a sort of retreat vacation now - much needed.)
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Your music (Carol King) is making me feel nostalgic. Isn't it funny how when looking back, it's like we've lived several separate lives?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your vacation.
