If you've known me for very long, you know I love it when these ♪♫ Twilight Zoney ♪♫ things happen to me. These Cosmic Sensations. These Serendipitous Happenings. You get the idea.
So, what is my waggish post for tonight. (By the way, "waggish" mean roguish in merriment and good humor, mischievous, merry, droll, comical, and funny.....Pretty much describes me!)
Uh...maybe THIS is why I'm feeling so kooky tonight!
I'm feeling good because I'm writing. Last night I submitted a short-short fictional story for a contest.
AND I'm writing a story for "Chicken Soup for the Soul; I Can't Believe My Dog Did That!" I'm working on a humorous story I began some time ago. It's about our first dog, Rocky. I don't have any digital photos of him, but he looked very similar to Tiger Gal. I would be thrilled, obviously, if the story was accepted for publication!
Welcome to my newest follower, Kelley. I hope you'll stop by often and always enjoy what you read and see! Thank you!
"Right now I'm having amnesia and deja-vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before." Steven Wright
Gosh! You're in the zone! Sometimes, I feel that way after taking my thyroid medicine and chugging a Diet Coke.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your submissions. I think I'll get a Sonic Diet Coke with Lime on Saturday, and see what develops. You inspire me!
Hey Becky, good feeling when the words flow. Maybe we'll make it into the same book and go on tour again. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteHey, I resemble that cartoon. Might I add, don't get your hair cut after drinking too much coffee. Just speaking from experience...
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your submissions!!
Yeah, the Twilight Zone is a weird and wonderful experience.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for success with those manuscripts!
Hi Val! I wouldn't exactly say I'm in the zone, but it does feel good to submit something, at least once in a while!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! Boy, you said it, sister! When the words flow, it's a fabulous feeling! I only wish it happened much more often....I'm not even asking for every day!
Hey Janel! Too funny! And what was the problem with getting your hair cut?? Did you do it yourself? Let your 3 year old cut it? Let Coop cut it?! LOL
Hi Clara! Thanks! Gotta love those writerly Twilight Zones! :)
Wow, Becky, that's a new word for me! Well done on your short fictional story. I've just started on my story for Chicken Soup for the Soul: I can't believe my cat did that! I'm still catching up on unpacking and getting back into blogging and e-mails. Will write to you soon. (((Hugs))) Jo
ReplyDeleteHi Jo! Thanks and I'm so glad to hear you're working on a CS story about your cat! And yes, you have unpacking to do, don't you?? Could you possibly donate about 10% of your energy to me?! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Lady! Glad you are having fun writing and feeling waggish. I'll have to use that word as often as possible. The Stephen Wright quote at the end cracked me up - thanks!
ReplyDeleteJanel, I wish I'd read your comment earlier today....
Good luck with your submissions.
ReplyDeleteHappy Waggish Writing!
ReplyDeleteHey Melissa! Thanks! Glad you like the word "waggish". Isn't it awesome?! And that Steven Wright quote always cracks me up, too! We must have the same waggish personality! :)

See I learn something new everytime I log on to my computer.
ReplyDeleteI sure wish I could get it into gear and finish the three stories I have half completed. I have too many interuptions. I need one of those skull and cross bone placards on my office door.~Ames
