♪♫ In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning ♪♫
I tried to read and leave comments in blogs last night, way past midnight.....Grrrr.
I read horror stories of bloggers totally losing their blog information.....Yikes!
I found a blog with "explanations" to some of the problems, partly which I don't even understand....Eek.
So, I'm taking this as a sign to stay completely away from Blogger. (at least for today!) I'll be doing my "homework"....answering Natalie Goldberg's questions in "Old Friend from Far Away" & fueling my writing soul.
Welcome to my newest follower, Karen Jones Gowen. I hope you'll stop by often and always enjoy what you read and see. Thank you!
P.S. I'm VERY aware of my two biggest struggles with my writing; and because they are Procrastinating & Perfection, they certainly explain why I haven't gotten much accomplished.....And so with that, I leave you with today's quote:
"This morning I took out a comma and this afternoon I put it back again." -- Oscar Wilde
I enjoyed your post and the quote is a classic. Fabulous! I suspect your head is buzzing from your late night blogging
ReplyDeleteBlogger is definitely a problem right now for too many bloggers!
ReplyDeleteHave a soul-refreshing Saturday!!

I switched to blogger interface for the comments but then when I'd go to comments you couldn't page down. GRRRRR. So I switched back. Other people seem to be able to use it fine. Always good to step away - it's the universe's way of saying HEY BECKY! Go do something else! Me, I'm gonna write. I've started the sequel to The Christmas Village. shhhh...
ReplyDeleteI'm not having any problems with blogger....
ReplyDeletegreat quote.
What a great quote from Oscar Wilde! Love it. I have been having problems with blogger over the last few days, in that whenever I tried to leave a comment, it just came up with an empty white page. I tried several times, but I still couldn't do it. Grrrr! Obviously, there must be some little blips going on again with Blogger :(
ReplyDeleteSometimes Blogger is downright scary.

Hah. The quote is great, made me laugh. You and I should be sisters. We suffer from the same writing maladies.
ReplyDeleteI think Blogger's problems are just one way to get me working on my Wordpress conversion...maybe it'll happen soon!
ReplyDeleteBlogger has been bugging me some the past few days too, but only on certain blogs for some reason. Hope they get the bugs worked out soon.
ReplyDeleteI suffer the same P&P issues as you do, and drive myself crazy with it. Tomorrow, God willing, will be a writing day, and I won't let anything else interfere.
ReplyDeleteHey Becky!! I'm back. You gotta give up the perfection thing or you'll never get anything written.
ReplyDeleteYou sound a little frustrated my dear friend. sandie
ReplyDeleteOh Becky, wouldn't it be HORRIBLE to lose one's entire blog? Oh, SPARE me that difficulty. We put so much of our hearts and souls into our blogs. It was be most devastating.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Beck. Susan
I've had no problem leaving comments, but the comments left by others on my most recent post are all in italics and I don't know why! Blogger is weird. I hope you're well, Becky. In my opinion, perfectionism is worthy of procrastination, and if you can pull that off, you will have taken care of both challenges in one fell swoop!
ReplyDeleteWell, for some reason I can now post on Linda O's blog, but still cannot on othe blogs with an embedded comment post section. Crazy, crazy, crazy stuff!!

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you were able to leave comments. I'm still having problems trying to do that on some blogs. I've read about backing up and saving my template, and making some changes to it, but I don't trust that idea...yet.
ReplyDeleteI always back-up my blog posts (well, when I remember!) in case something goes wrong... I don't have much faith in the system!
ReplyDeleteI use Firefox and have very few problems with Blogger. My work computer on the other hand uses IE...and a very old version at that...and I have tons of problems. If you don't use Firefox, you might want to consider it. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel and DL! Thanks for stopping and commenting...and glad Blogger allowed you to do it! :)
ReplyDeleteI would be one sad puppy if I lost my blog. People have tried to convince me to go to Wordpress, but if I didn't have the ease of Blogger, I probably wouldn't blog at all. Yes, I am that challenged. Love the quote!
