Currently there are SIX anthologies that need your stories. A couple of them are recently posted, too. It's always a good idea to check their website often.

These are just a few that I happened upon. I'm only familiar with Chicken Soup, but the other ones do look legit. And don't forget....you can't get published or win anything, if you don't at least TRY! Enter. Submit. You never know! Good Luck!

I've just discovered your lovely blog and I'm now following ~ so nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Anne ♥♥
I think that there should be competitions for us readers. Somedays it feels as if we work nearly as hard as you writers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the information, Becky. The first one looks especially interesting...
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, I hope it's okay if I add this one to your list. Chamberton Publishing is accepting short story and poetry submissions for several upcoming anthologies. I hope you and your readers will check it out.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
T.K.

You're sweet to share all this information.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
Thanks for sharing these, Becky. Great to know who wants stories. Susan
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Becky. I think its wonderful that though your time is limited, you're still willing to share it with us and give us information.
ReplyDeleteNothing ventured, nothing gained!
ReplyDelete=)
I should really find time myself for such things! Perhaps instead of reading whatever is shoved into my hand!?! ha!
ReplyDeleteBecky, I could not agree more that we must submit to win or to be accepted! Submitting/entering is no guarantee, but not doing it IS a guarantee that you won't win or be accepted.
