    1. Hey Julie! That's great! Want to share which book it's for??
And you are so right about us writers having people who encourage us. We can never have too many, can we? And everyone seems to provide something new and different!

  3. Nice to see your blog pop up this morning, Becky. Thanks for Chicken Soup list. I have never had much luck there but maybe I can stir up something again for one of these. Warm today...but they said we would have rain, frost, and maybe snow flakes by Thursday. So what planet am I living on?!?!?!

    1. Hey Val! Yes, you really should submit a few stories. I know you have it in you to "tone" yourself down a bit! :)
And thanks, yes we can get our cars in and out of the garage, but the rest of the house still needs a lot of work!

  7. I have submitted 5 different articles to Chicken Soup for the Soul, but I never heard a word from them about any of them. It was a discouraging experience, and I'm loathe to try anymore.

How wonderful that you met someone who has encouraged you with your memoir. Encouragers are such a blessing!!

    1. Hey Patti! I'm sorry you haven't had any luck with Chicken Soup, but it doesn't mean you can't write, ya know. Maybe try a different venue, like the Not Your Mother's Book On...
      They're great people, too!
And yes, you are so right: Encouragers are such a blessing!
