This afternoon, I really have no idea what day it is. I've spent approximately SEVEN HOURS attempting to "fix" my printer/copier. Yes. Seven hours. And it's still not "fixed." I think I'm going to have to buy a new one. (Don't even ask. My reply might send electrical shock waves through the cyberspace.)

I do want to say that I'm being featured in kind of a blog tour for my memoir, and I thank the following three women with all my heart:
Tomorrow, December 11th, the lovely Julie Flanders is hosting me. Please stop by and leave a comment for Julie and/or me.
Monday, December 16th, the always lovely Jennifer Shirk will be my host. Please stop by there, too let Jennifer know you were there.
** P.S. After I posted this I found out that Ann, at Ann's Reading Corner, also highlighted my memoir in her Teaser Tuesday post! Thank you, Ann! **

*Welcome to my newest follower, Carol Ford. I hope you'll stop by often and always enjoy what you read and see! Thank you so much! *

I will visit these ladies, thanks for letting us know. I am enjoying the memoir it will be a day or two before I get it finished, will post my review then. Thanks sharing your life with us, it is a fun trip down memory lane.
ReplyDeleteHi Gigi Ann! Thanks for stopping and commenting, and a big thanks for letting me know you're enjoying my memoir! I'll definitely read your review as soon as you post it! :)
DeleteI can't wait to host you on my blog! It will be fun because you are fun and so is your memoir. SAD news about your printer. UGH! UGH! UGH!
ReplyDeleteMargo, you are so funny! Thanks, and I'm looking forward to being on your blog, too!
DeleteJust to add to the confusion, it is Wednesday. Mid-morning.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the tour - I do love (and appreciate) the warmth and the wonder in the blogosphere.
Hey EC....loved your comment..."Just to add to the confusion..." Sheesh...I sure don't need any added!! LOL
DeleteAnd I agree about the warmth and wonder of my blog friends!
I do believe that it has been Tuesday all day!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth! Thank you! And heck....it's almost midnight now...so then I'll have to realize and remember it will be Wednesday! :)
DeleteOur printer went Kaput! too. the ink cartridge got stuck tot eh side and nothing could pry it loose. Happened to two other people we know. Went to the blog tour but it must be too early. I'll be back later.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! Thanks for stopping by. My printer problem appears to be the print head which means I might as well buy another printer....ugh...
DeleteAnd yes, please do stop by Julie's blog when you can!
It's a pleasure to host you today, Becky!! Thanks for the mention and for your kind words. So sorry about the printer!! I cringe at the thought of even trying to fix anything computer-related, I am hopeless and it's always the biggest nuisance on earth. Hope this is fixed soon for you.
ReplyDeleteHi Julie! Thank you again! And yes, I hate any "technology" type problems. Goes all the way back to how inept I was in many math problems when I was in school! :)
DeleteHi Becky,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Fiction Books earlier today (now is it Tuesday or Wednesday??). To be honest I have been so busy at work today, in the build up to Christmas, that I have no real idea what day it is and I don't really care any more!
I have been reliably informed that today is 11/12/13 and that it is Friday the 13th this week, just to add to the chaos!
I am so pleased to meet you and to have found your site. I love your style of blogging, so I shall be stopping by as often as I can,
Yvonne.
Yvonne
Hi Yvonne! How funny about what day or time it is! AND I just knew you lived somewhere other than the US, because the way we write our dates are different. For today, we say 12/11/13. Talk about REALLY being confused, that would be me if/when I'm traveling!! Thanks for stopping and leaving a comment, and I do hope you come back often!
DeleteNice to meet you Becky! :) I can so relate to losing whole wastelands of time to technical difficulties...arghh!!
ReplyDeleteHello Johanna! I totally agree on the "arghh!!" LOL
DeleteAnd it's very nice to meet you, too!
Hi Becky! I love your blog (thanks to Gigi Ann! I'm following you now.
ReplyDeleteHello to another Yvonne! And yes, thanks to Gigi Ann, we are meeting new bloggers. I'm so happy you like my blog and thank you for becoming a follower!
DeleteI love memoirs. I'll have to check yours out too.
ReplyDeleteHi Vanessa! Thank you very much for stopping by and leaving a comment! Glad to know you love memoirs....So do I. :)
DeleteSorry I haven't been more helpful. I'm so busy that it's all I can do to put up a recycled poem once a week.
ReplyDeleteI'll try to do better after the new year!
=)
Sue, you are too funny! I didn't know what you meant by your comment....not being more helpful...and I'm still not totally sure, but I think you mean, to help me know what day it is!! :) Thanks!
Delete7 hours?! Ack! Hope it works for you soon!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer! Yes, seven hours....which includes "down time" while I was going through all the stuff the online "expert" had me doing. If my oldest son was in town, I could've gone to him, but alas, he's traveling this week. I can't wait for him to come home! He's my tech guy! :)
DeleteI am loving your book...review coming soon...
ReplyDeleteI'm SO happy to hear you are loving my book! That's what I'm hoping for, that many readers will feel the same way, and spread the word!
DeleteI'm impressed at your persistence with your printer. I would have given up much much sooner. So glad to hear all the good things coming your way with your book.
ReplyDeleteHi Deb! Thank you for my book good wishes!! And as far as persistence with my printer....no, I'd call it stubbornness! :)
DeleteLately, I have no idea what day it is. I'll visit your friends. Happy Tuesday. Oh I mean Sunday.
ReplyDeleteHa, Myrna! This made me laugh!!
