Eeeeek!! |
People tell me I've been through a lot the past couple of months. I really hadn't looked at it that way, especially because of the sorrow and sickness some of my friends have been experiencing lately. But, however, all the worry and tension and grief that I thought I was "handling," hit me when I let my guard down, and it finally took a bit of a toll...
And now...I'm working my way back...to myself. And it feels really good to smile and laugh and be goofy again J

As one who had her own challenges to work through, I know it's not always easy to do that. While someone else's challenges may be "heavier" than ours, what we are going through still matters to us, and it can take us awhile to work through things.
ReplyDeleteThat said, now that I am back to blogging, I hope you will be around more too. I have missed you.,
Love and hugs,
Patti
Thank you so much, Patti! You've always stayed with me, even when I haven't been a good blogger, or good friend. I will try to remember to stop by your blog often! Love and hugs back to you!
DeleteWelcome back. Hope to see you soon!

Hi Pat. Thank you! I did send you an email about us getting together for lunch....maybe I should see if you rec'd it!
DeleteBROWN-EYED BECKY-O! ~
ReplyDeleteNice to see ya back.
That photo of you should be the basis for a meme. I can easily imagine that being posted here, there, and everywhere, with a variety of different statements, observations, and complaints superimposed upon it.
Maybe I'll go to the website 'I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER' and try to get the ball rolling on that.

Great photo of you, it made me smile. Good to hear you are laughing and smiling again.
ReplyDeleteHi sweet Terra! Thanks so much. It's people like you, sending me words of encouragement, that keep me going!
DeleteWelcome back, dear sweet Becky. I've missed you. Great photo of you! Blessings Jo xx
ReplyDeleteThank YOU, dear sweet Jo!
DeleteWelcome back. Experience tells me that we keep going while we have to, and then have a spectacular crash.
ReplyDelete'I have worked for this nervous breakdown. I deserve it. And NOBODY is going to stop me'.
Hugs.
Hi EC! You are correct. We keep going until we can't any longer. I love that quote, too, BTW! Hugs back to you!
DeleteStress can sure take a till on us. Glad you're better.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda!
DeleteThat photo looks like you have one giant gold earring, which I soon realised is a doorknob behind you :)
ReplyDeleteRiver, this is SO funny, because when I originally posted this, I even made a comment about it not being an earring, but that it was the doorknob!! Here's that old blogpost: https://beckypovich.blogspot.com/2012/11/sigh-of-joy-relief-happiness-disbelief.html#comment-form
DeleteYou know I'd show up here, just to see my Becky with her doorknob earring. I have looked all over and just can't find a pair in any of the chic stores. Next stop, Lowe's. Yes, it's my favorite photo of the genius creative writer who hasn't been the same since that quirky accident. xoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteJudie, you are TOO funny! Yes, I think Lowe's would be a good place to look :)
DeleteAnd also, thank you again for always being such a huge "fan" of mine! I love ya!
