Well, as I said in one of my replies to a comment in my most recent post.....
"Jeanie, thank you very much! After reading your encouraging words, I feel kind of foolish for being so upset over a part-time job that I'd had for less than a year. It did hit me hard, but here...only 2 days later, I'm feeling a lot better. When I do allow myself to think about it, I get my mind off of it as soon as possible. There's absolutely no sense in reliving it over and over in my head...Thank you so much. I'm so blessed to have some awesome blog friends!"

And so, I already have other ideas floating around in my mind, some of which haven't even materialized enough yet for me to realize what they are! Are they about a job, or writing, or what? I'm feeling so much better and a great deal of that is because of all my fantastic blog friends.

I scrolled down to see what had happened in your life since I last visited: I'm glad you've bounced back. I also cannot survive without my friends. Love the mascara humor. Keep us posted on whether you get another job. xx

DeleteI like your inspirational quotes and I think something better will show up for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Terra. I think so, too!
DeleteNever feel foolish about how you feel, Becky. Never. Things like that hurt and hurt deep. And yes, you bounce -- and look at you -- bouncing already! But the main thing is to honor the feelings you have or had. They're real and they're part of life -- and of you.
ReplyDeleteGlad things are looking up!
Jeanie, you are wonderful! Thank youuuuuu!
DeleteI missed your last post, but I hear ya. Aren't friends a wonderful gift? What would we do without them?
ReplyDeleteYes, so true! And I see you commented on my previous post. Thanks for that, too!
DeleteGlad you are recovering...it will all be fine somehow and it starts with attitude...and you have a good one now!

Oh Becky I'm so glad I got to read that you are feeling better and healing from your experience at your previous job. I was getting caught up with your writing and feeling what you you were going through! It's awful to be at a job that brings you down. Hope today is bright and encouraging and gorgeous like you!!
