OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Yesterday, February 11th, was our wedding anniversary. Ron and I have been married for 26 years!! Wow!!
In honor of that, and also because Valentine's Day is so near, I received a beautiful glass vase of mixed flowers, some of which are red roses and red carnations! And the card read: " Happy Valenversary!" ....That's my Ron!
We'll be going out to dinner on Friday, to celebrate both occasions, too.

BORDERS BOOK SIGNING
Our book signing at Borders went really well today. We also added one more local writer to our "group".....Theresa Sanders!.....and then there were four! We had a great time and plan to attend more events together.
Some good friends stopped by, plus we met some wonderful "new" friends.
A special "Thank You" to DONNA, who was so excited to meet "real writers" ! She kept saying we made her day, but Donna, you totally made OUR day!! Thanks! I hope you check out my blog and leave a comment.
And also a big "Thank You" to Lynn Obermoeller, St. Louis Writer Guild Member of Distinction, who was so kind to stop by and bought some of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books!!

MY CHIROPRACTOR IS AMAZING!!!
When I told my chiropractor, Dr. Steven Schoenherr, about my job at Barnes & Noble, he said the funniest thing....." Isn't that like you going back to the Mother Ship?!"
Since I'm not just a "number" to him, but I'm a real person, we've talked about my writing and love of reading.
Dr. Schoenherr is one of the nicest people I've ever met. The same goes for his office staff, too.
I suffered with back, neck and headache problems for years, and tried different chiropractors, but he is BY FAR, the best! I can always get an appointment, even at the last minute, and there's never more than a 5 minute wait.....if that! They don't really need a "waiting room", like most doctors!

President Obama
I'm so happy and hopeful about our new President. He has renewed my sense of goodness in the world.....especially the world of American politics.
I couldn't tear myself away from the TV on Tuesday. I watched hours of the "pre", "during" and "after" Inaugural events. (I did manage to get a little bit of writing accomplished that day!)

A FABULOUS VISIT
I arrived home last night after a wonderful visit with my sister and other family members in the Atlanta, Georgia area. We managed to pull off a big surprise, for a milestone birthday of hers! It was great fun and can't wait to go back soon.
