Some Days are Diamonds. Some Days are Stones.

All I have to say about today is the following quote I found:

"It was horrible, no fun at all. It was a really tough day -- it was windy, rainy and cold. I just wanted to finish and have a cup of coffee in the clubhouse.” -- Annika Sorenstam

  2. Soon you'll be dancing and singing in the sunshine, but a good cup of coffee can never hurt. :)

  4. Hi Lisa! Thanks! Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I came across that quote! It couldn't have been better. And although, I know Annika was talking about playing golf in that weather....Hey, it just fit, ya know!?

  5. Hi Janel! Yes, coffee is always a good thing! Especially since I'm not a "drinker"....although the weather yesterday could've turned a person into one! Today is already much better. It's cool, but SUNNY!!

  9. Today is much better at my house, it is sunny outside, but, I prefer a nice hot cup of tea, that makes my day. As a matter of fact, I think I'll go have a cup now...

  11. Sorry to hear you had a bad day. I guess we have all been there. I like that song sung by John Denver, though. :-)

Hope things have improved since then.

  13. I have had to quit golf because of snow on the greens ... a bit of a crazed die hard player from the North country.

I saw you over at Daisy's blog, she's one of the nicest people on the net. Hello from SpeedyCat :-)

  14. Hey SpeedyCat!! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment! I've seen you on Daisy's blog, too! I checked out your blog, very briefly just now. Wish I could join you in Karaoke and belt out a few tunes! If you've scrolled down far enough on my blog and read stuff on the right column, I say on there that I truly believe I can sing....most people would not agree with that, though! Hey, I enjoy life...what else is there to do??!! :)
