The last couple of days, I've begun to feel a little better. It's been a slow process, and seems especially slow because I have such a low energy level in the first place. But, I am definitely on the mend! Last night, I even broke into song a couple of times, and my husband gave me that "look". The one where he pretends to appear as if he thinks I can't sing!! Then he smiled and said, "You're on your way back, aren't you!?" Yep, he's gotta take the bad with the good!
I've been rearranging the look of my blog a little bit. Just the right side part. I removed quite a few things, moved others, and shortened the list of blogs appearing in the main area of my Blog List. I chose to only show 10 on the first page, and they are listed in order of newest posts at the top. After you scroll down to the end of the 10th one, you can click on "show all", continue scrolling and see the rest. I used to list them alphbetically, but when I realized I could show them by newest updates, that seemed to make a lot more sense. So, the more you blog, the more you'll be seen!
Poor Tiger! Since her hearing isn't what it used to be, my coughing and using hundreds of Puffs Plus tissues, has interrupted a few of her naps! And I'm not even talking about loud old honking noises! The poor thing will raise up her tilted head, look over my way with one ear flopped, and have a look on her face like Hey! What the heck was that? Did you do that?! And I, always remembering my manners, even with my dog, will say out loud, "I'm sorry, Tiger! I didn't mean to scare you!" *Side Note: I am not being paid by Procter & Gamble to keep talking about Puffs tissues!! But, hey, if anyone from P&G is reading this.....have your people call my people!

Hi Becky,
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear you are feeling better and Tiger is alert to your honking... I only use Puffs Plus, once I found them I never bought any other brand. And as someone else said the other day, when I have a cold I like the Vicks one best..
Honk, Honk, I'll be on my way for now...
Ann
I'm sure the spring-y weather will help with feeling better.
ReplyDeletePoor Tiger! I know the "What was that? I'm trying to sleep here!" look well :)
Hi Ann! Thanks! You really made me smile and laugh!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janel! Yes, I've seen buds on some of the trees! And I can just see Coop giving your some of those "looks"! :)
ReplyDeleteBecky, That was a very funny post. I cracked up. I feel like calling the Puffs company and telling them to take a look at your blog. And the dog looking at you strangely because of the wierd noises....you really gave me a good chuckle. Good work! And I'm so glad you're feeling better. Like your sidebar, by the way, and your mantel looks nice. Wow! You've lived in a lot of places. Well, Becky, take care. Sincerely, Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHi Susan! Thanks! I love hearing that I make people laugh! One of my secret fantasies is to be a Stand Up Comedian! Hey, let me know if you hear anything from the Puffs People, too! Also glad you enjoyed the side bar info and mantel photo! Have a great rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteBecky, I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better. Dogs are so funny, aren't they? They can sure say a lot with just one look. I know my dog does that same thing. :D
ReplyDeleteHi Becky,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are doing so much better! I wanted to let you know that I love the book, Bread Alone. It is great. Judith captures everything so well, and it is funny. It makes me remember going through my divorce, and the little things you think.
Thanks again,
Kathy M.
Glad to hear that nasty bug is finally bugging off!
ReplyDeleteHi Daisy, Kathy and Pat! Thanks so much. Great to hear from all of you! And, Kathy, I'm REALLY glad you like the book!! I thought how it would be kind of an awkward situation if you didn't like it, after all the excitement!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're feeling better! Check out my blog for a recipe for garlic soup that helps colds...although you will REALLY have to apologize to your dog for that one! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, it is Thursday now (I'm a bit behind the times this week) so you've had a couple more days to puff into Puffs and feel better. I do hope you're back up to snuff.
ReplyDeleteHey Tammy! Thanks! Your garlic soup sounds yummy, but I won't be trying it for awhile I don't think! My energy level is still too low to even make that!
ReplyDeleteHey Lisa! You little poet, you! I AM feeling better. It sure has been at a snail's pace, though. I actually put on some makeup yesterday afternoon and got my hair cut and styled at the salon! Wow! That made me feel like a million bucks!
