ALA (American Library Association)

Spencer Road Library; St. Charles County, Mo.

"The Help", by Kathryn Stockett

More to come later.....

"A library is not a luxury but one of the necessities of life." -- Henry Ward Beecher

  1. Hi Becky....So grateful for libraries. They are truly one of the best parts of life. Sincerely, Susan

  2. Hi Susan! Thanks for stopping by, and I totally agree!! Where would we be without them??

  3. The Spencer Road Branch is one of my favorite things!

  4. I have two beautiful main branch libraries just 20 minutes from my house. They both have coffee shops and fabulous used book sales!

  5. I totally concur!!!Libraries have been a place to dream since I was a very little girl.

  6. Hi Pat! Mine, too. I could even walk there, if I really wanted to take a hike...but I wouldn't be able to carry many books! I'd need a roller cart!

  7. Hi Janel and Julia! Thanks for commenting! We all obviously love to read and write!

  8. Hurray for National Library Week. :-)

You have to know I like this post, Becky! We are giving out forgive a fine coupons to celebrate this week. Oh, and we're having a drawing for a planter too. Thank you for supporting libraries!

  9. I was listening to Andrea and Sara sing "Time to Say Goodbye." What was I going to say?

    Oh! Libraries! They rock!

I'm still getting quite a few spam comments that are Anonymous, so I'm trying "User with Google Accounts." If anyone tries to comment that I know, and it won't let you, send me an email, okay? Thanks so much.
