It's Friday....time for another I Wonder!
I am extremely grateful and happy to know Robert Brault. Some of my blog friends also know Robert and his writing genius. If you think you don't know him, you've probably read one of his hundred (or thousand?) quotes, and just didn't realize who the author was. If you Google Mr. Brault, you'll see what I mean.
Not too long ago, he let us in on some BIG news. Northern Sun is publishing a 2012 wall calendar and a set of note cards, with Robert's amazing thoughts and quotes, plus some beautiful photos. Oh my goodness. Can you say, "Christmas Gifts?!"
I've already placed my online order for one calendar and one set of note cards....for now. I'll buy more, as soon as I figure out how many I need!
I Wonder: How many of his 2012 calendars, and note card sets will be purchased online just today?
Please click on the Northern Sun link and take a look, and maybe place an order!
What would be more fitting than to close with a Robert Brault quote today??
"I value the friend who for me finds time on his calendar, but I cherish the friend who for me does not consult his calendar." -- Robert Brault
What a great idea, Becky. These will make great Christmas gifts, especially for my word-loving famiily members!

Hi Becky, I love the quote at the end of your post by Robert Brault. Sorry I've been so slow in replying to your welcome card received in South Africa. I will mail you soon, dear friend. I've been ill since returning to Kenya but on the mend and back on track now again.Blessings and hugs Jo
ReplyDeleteThanks Becky. I'll probably buy at least one.
ReplyDeleteSending you good, good thoughts.
Hi Becky...I'm not familiar with Robert but if you like him, he must be good! Take care and have a great weekend. Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHe DOES come up with wonderful quotes.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check him out!
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome quote. I enjoy Robert's quotes (what few of them I know), so I will definitely stop by the store to check out what is available.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads-up.
Love,
Patti
Thanks, everyone! I'm going back today and posting a photo, too. I should've done that in the first place. Please pass the word. Mr. Brault is such a wonderful man.

Becky, thanks so much. This is really a generous gesture -- and not the first time you've tossed a friendly nod by way. I owe you much. Thanks, too, to your readers for their encouraging comments. There's a whole lot of good will here.
ReplyDeleteHi CJ! Thank you. I hope you do order some!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank YOU, Robert. You do not owe me a thing. Your beautiful writing is "payment" enough!
