Time for another I Wonder
There happens to be quite a few things I've been wondering about the past few days, but I'll only share two of them. My mind is usually like that Christmas song....I Wonder as I Wander.
I Wonder: Where the heck does the time go?? I get up early, and sometimes stay up late, too....and I'm busy, really busy doing things, yet nothing seems to get accomplished. On the contrary!
I Wonder: How many of you are familiar with the site Tiny Lights? I'm one of the writers who submits monthly answers to unique questions posed by Tiny Lights Guru -- Susan Bono. That area is called: Searchlights & Signal Flares. Anyone can submit answers. Got that? Anyone! There is no payment, but it's certainly a great site for others to find your writing. Check out the guidelines and Go For It!
** Just added Saturday morning: Click here and be taken to my answer to Susan's latest question, What do you do when a story resists you?

Welcome to my newest followers, Jean Tuthill & Glenn R. I hope you'll stop by often and always enjoy what you read and see! Thank you!
"I am a conservative type of person, so sometimes when I'm chilling with myself, people always come ask me, 'What's wrong with you? What are you wondering about?'" -- Wayne Wonder
I'm with you. On a day off, I wonder how it just slips through my fingers and nothing really gets accomplished.
ReplyDelete(Thanks for the labels. I got them yesterday.)
I agree with you, where as the time gone? I thought maybe it flew by for me because I read so much of the time, (one of my favorite things to do). Since I am not a writer, but a reader, I have never visited the blogs you mentioned.
ReplyDelete"Where HAS the time gone?" I need to proof-read before I hit 'publish...'
ReplyDeleteHi Becky...I SO identify with the fast passage of time. Where oh where does it go? Especially at this time of year? Yikes. Take care and so glad you got some baking done, too. Susan
ReplyDeleteYes, was just wondering today how a over a week of December is gone already. When did that happen? I suppose though, our wonderings are a good thing. It can give us writing ideas! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
It just doesn't seem possible that the New Year is only weeks away, does it? I mean, wasn't it just summer, wasn't I just out in the garden pulling tomatoes from the vine? It's mind-boggling sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI wonder the same thing - where in the heck does time go Becky? Sandie
ReplyDeleteI totally agree.
ReplyDeleteNeed. More. Time!
Thank you for the Tiny Lights tip. I was not familiar with it. I wonder if this comment will go to your spam folder again!
ReplyDeleteIt's a mystery where time goes. If someone every finds it they could get rich.
ReplyDeleteDonna
Time has gone so quickly for me this year. I cannot believe we are in December. I can't quite get my head around it.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm working on getting there!!
=)
Time is a crazy thing. Still trying to understand it. I listen to a lot of Dr. Brian Cox And Dr. Brian Greene and like them, am still trying to figure it all out.
ReplyDeleteI wonder where times goes too, then the moment of truth...too much of my time is spent on the computer! LOL! (Just being honest!)
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm with you there. My "baby" just turned 20, and I am wondering where the last 2 decades have gone. How in the world can 2 decades be gone when he was only born about 3 years ago!!!!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a fabulous weekend.
Love,
Patti
Thanks for letting us know about Tiny Lights. I love it when blogging becomes a community and leads us to places we might not have otherwise known.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the time! It just flies by... happy Christmas! (how is it December already??)
ReplyDeleteSome how I missed or forgot to enjoy October and November. Now it's December and I feel like grains of sand in an hour glass. Time must be a machine that runs on age. The older you get the faster it goes. Help! Somebody pull the plug!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Becky. I wrote about that in my last blog post. Except that I often feel time slips by me 'cause I'm wasting it. But actually, like you, I keep myself busy then I wonder where the time went.
ReplyDeleteI read your entry in Tiny Lights. Wish I had answers for you, but when a story resists me, I tend to let it. That's why I don't ever get to write much.
Hey Sioux! Thanks for stopping and commenting. Glad you got the labels, too. I hope they'll help do great things for the kids.
ReplyDeleteHi Gigi Ann! I know what you mean. At least you aren't wasting any of your time when you read! That's great!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan! Thank you and yes, I'm SO happy that I baked some cookies this year. So many times I say I'm going to...and then never do. I don't think I should make any more, though, unless I give most of them away. I have no will power when it comes to certain cookies!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen! Oh yes...wonderful writing ideas! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteHey Joanne! Mind-boggling is THE word I should've used in this post! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHey Chatty! If I could answer that question...I'd be a gazillionaire!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelley! Loved your period after each word. I read it to myself in Captain Kirk's voice! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Val! Yep, once again your comment landed in spam. I can't understand it because it didn't do that until just recently! Weird! Glad you liked the info about Tiny Lights and I hope you submit something!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna! Yep...a gazillionaire! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sue! I love your new profile photo. I keep forgetting to tell you...because time is flying by too fast! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Stephen! Thanks for stopping and commenting....and for becoming my newest follower!
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl! Yes, I must admit that part of my "time problem" is blogging, e-mailing, searching for all kinds of info! But I'm trying to limit myself to less time!
ReplyDeleteHey Patti! I love all the different profile pictures you're using! I never know what I'll see next and that's cool. Ditto on the "baby's" age and how he was just a little boy the other day...THAT makes me sad, but only for a moment or two...
ReplyDeleteHi Juliann! You are very welcome, and thanks so much for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel! Thanks SO much for stopping and commenting. I haven't heard from you in ages! Happy Christmas to you, too!
ReplyDeleteHi Ames! Yep..time goes much faster when we're "older." Pull back the reins and enjoy December!
ReplyDeleteHi Myrna! I read your blog post and it was beautiful, as always. And hey, I do waste quite a bit of time, too, so don't feel bad. I think many of us do. :)
ReplyDeleteAnyone who's reading this, should stop by Myrna's blog. She writes so eloquently!
