* I WONDER *

Time for another I Wonder

There happens to be quite a few things I've been wondering about the past few days, but I'll only share two of them. My mind is usually like that Christmas song....I Wonder as I Wander.

I Wonder:  Where the heck does the time go?? I get up early, and sometimes stay up late, too....and I'm busy, really busy doing things, yet nothing seems to get accomplished. On the contrary!

I Wonder: How many of you are familiar with the site Tiny Lights? I'm one of the writers who submits monthly answers to unique questions posed by Tiny Lights Guru -- Susan Bono. That area is called: Searchlights & Signal Flares.  Anyone can submit answers. Got that? Anyone! There is no payment, but it's certainly a great site for others to find your writing. Check out the guidelines and Go For It!

** Just added Saturday morning: Click here and be taken to my answer to Susan's latest question, What do you do when a story resists you?

Welcome to my newest followers, Jean Tuthill & Glenn R. I hope you'll stop by often and always enjoy what you read and see! Thank you!

"I am a conservative type of person, so sometimes when I'm chilling with myself, people always come ask me, 'What's wrong with you? What are you wondering about?'" -- Wayne Wonder

  1. I'm with you. On a day off, I wonder how it just slips through my fingers and nothing really gets accomplished.

(Thanks for the labels. I got them yesterday.)

  2. I agree with you, where as the time gone? I thought maybe it flew by for me because I read so much of the time, (one of my favorite things to do). Since I am not a writer, but a reader, I have never visited the blogs you mentioned.

  4. Hi Becky...I SO identify with the fast passage of time. Where oh where does it go? Especially at this time of year? Yikes. Take care and so glad you got some baking done, too. Susan

  6. It just doesn't seem possible that the New Year is only weeks away, does it? I mean, wasn't it just summer, wasn't I just out in the garden pulling tomatoes from the vine? It's mind-boggling sometimes.

  13. Well, I'm with you there. My "baby" just turned 20, and I am wondering where the last 2 decades have gone. How in the world can 2 decades be gone when he was only born about 3 years ago!!!!

    Wishing you a fabulous weekend.

    Love,
    Patti

  16. Some how I missed or forgot to enjoy October and November. Now it's December and I feel like grains of sand in an hour glass. Time must be a machine that runs on age. The older you get the faster it goes. Help! Somebody pull the plug!

  17. I know what you mean Becky. I wrote about that in my last blog post. Except that I often feel time slips by me 'cause I'm wasting it. But actually, like you, I keep myself busy then I wonder where the time went.

I read your entry in Tiny Lights. Wish I had answers for you, but when a story resists me, I tend to let it. That's why I don't ever get to write much.

  20. Hi Susan! Thank you and yes, I'm SO happy that I baked some cookies this year. So many times I say I'm going to...and then never do. I don't think I should make any more, though, unless I give most of them away. I have no will power when it comes to certain cookies!

  29. Hi Cheryl! Yes, I must admit that part of my "time problem" is blogging, e-mailing, searching for all kinds of info! But I'm trying to limit myself to less time!

  30. Hey Patti! I love all the different profile pictures you're using! I never know what I'll see next and that's cool. Ditto on the "baby's" age and how he was just a little boy the other day...THAT makes me sad, but only for a moment or two...

  34. Hi Myrna! I read your blog post and it was beautiful, as always. And hey, I do waste quite a bit of time, too, so don't feel bad. I think many of us do. :)

Anyone who's reading this, should stop by Myrna's blog. She writes so eloquently!
