Just received the Good News phone call from our vet!! I could hear the happiness in your voice the entire time.
Vet: "Your boy did fine. In fact he's sitting and barking! Doesn't like the cage!"
Me: "Oh yeah, he wants his momma."
Vet: "Yes he does!"
Vet: "Your boy did fine. In fact he's sitting and barking! Doesn't like the cage!"
Me: "Oh yeah, he wants his momma."
Vet: "Yes he does!"
I couldn't stand leaving Charlie there. He has terrible separation anxiety and as the technician was taking him to the back, he pulled out of his collar, and came running to me!

So, they put a different collar/leash thing on him and away he went. I can't believe I didn't cry!! I just kept telling myself that everything was going to be okay...and thankfully, it is!
She wants to keep him until 2:00 pm and then we can pick him up. Guess I'll do laundry and housework and listen to music on my Echo.

ReplyDeleteCharlie is a top-notch name for a dog.
Many years ago, I suspected that we wouldn't find our beloved pets in Heaven when we get there. And then one day it dawned on me: Heaven wouldn't be heavenly unless I'm reunited with George there. (George is my favorite dog I ever had - truly a genuine member of our family!) And that realization changed my mind about pets in Heaven.

Hi Stephen T! Thanks so much. It's really neat seeing your name, words, and signature here again! I wish blogging was like it was in 2009, 2010, 2011. And I guess there are many who still do blog, but a lot of people have moved over to Facebook, which haws its uses.... Sigh...Guess it's up to me to start blogging regularly again, and checking on others, too :) AND I'll visit your Battle of the Bands on July 1st.
