I can't believe Christmas Eve is one week from today. I sound like such an old lady every December when I mention how the year has just flown by!
Well, I AM becoming an old lady....and it's officially happening on my next birthday...... January 6th, 2013......I'll be 60 Freakin' Years Old! I have no idea how that's possible. Thank goodness I don't feel old, mentally or physically. And I'll still be the same Goofy Becky next month, and every month, and every year after that.
Evidence of Past Goofiness, from various years:
(some of these photos have been posted before)
Wow! What's the deal with this disgusting kitchen?? I guess I spend more time being goofy than cleaning house.
Welcome to my newest followers: Julie Luek and The Desert Rocks. I hope you'll stop by often and always enjoy what you read and see!
And now, a few quotes from one of my favorite Goofy Guys: Steven Wright
Shin: a device for finding furniture in the dark. -- Steven Wright
A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me, I'm afraid of widths. -- Steven Wright
I went to a restaurant that serves "breakfast at any time". So I ordered French Toast during the Renaissance. -- Steven Wright
We should be able to be as old as we feel. I did find things go downhill a bit as you hit sixty--hopefully not for you!!
ReplyDeleteThe older I get, the older OLD gets! I like your goofiness!
ReplyDeleteSillines/goofiness are good. So much better than Sombre Sam. Its my life, I will giggle whenever and wherever I can.
ReplyDeleteBirthdays? An excuse for presents, champagne and cake. I am not in school anymore and have no need to do the mathematics. And I don't need anyone else to do it for me either.
Girl I am still goofy at 62 so don't worry be happy about joining the Big 6-0 club! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteI turned 65 this year and I still act 6.5 most of the time.....
ReplyDeleteOh, to be 60 again! :-)
ReplyDeleteI loved reading this post. You are so cute and funny. You'll never be old regardless of your chronological age. Welcome to the sixties (the new forties?)
ReplyDeleteStay goofy.
To be 60 again. Your still a babe girl.
ReplyDeleteI am going to be 71 this January 8 On the date as the late Elvis Birthday.
And he is not in the building. That would creep me out.
Laughter is a good medicine.
So that is my tool of staying
older not OLD.
So I enjoyed the Humorist, writer Becky pictures.
Right on. So Happy Birthday coming up and a Merry Christmas.
Your pictures are so fun! I can see your fun personality is shining through. Merry Christmas to you and thanks for the shout out!
